Meeting of Mrs. Kalsoom Nawaz Sharif with the U.S. First Lady, Mrs. Michelle Obama
Begum Kalsoom Nawaz Sharif was hosted by Mrs. Michelle Obama at the White House today. Dr. Jill Biden, the spouse of Vice President Joe Biden, was also present in the meeting. Both First Ladies exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interests. They discussed social sector development, education and health for women in Pakistan. The meeting lasted for an hour.
Begum Kalsoom Nawaz Sharif invited Mrs. Obama to visit Pakistan.
