The fifth PIA special charter flight for stranded Pakistanis left Newark, New Jersey for Islamabad on 01 June 2020. The passengers were seen off by Consul General NY Ayesha Ali and officers & staff of Pakistan Consulate in New York - June 01, 2020
As a gesture of solidarity with the United States, a gift of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has been made by the Armed Forces of Pakistan to the U.S. Armed Forces today, 21 May 2020. The PPE arrived via a C-130 flight from Islamabad at Andrews Air Force Base (AFB), Maryland this afternoon. Pakistan Ambassador to the US Dr. Asad M. Khan and senior officers of the Embassy’s Defence Wing were present on the occasion. From the U.S. side, Mr. David Helvey, Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs and other officials were also present 21 May 2020.

A second special flight of PIA left with 232 passengers for Karachi from Dulles airport, Washington DC. Ambassador Dr. Asad Majeed Khan bid farewell to Pakistani passengers who were stranded in the US. The total number of Pakistanis repatriated this week is around 570. The third special flight is scheduled for Lahore on 17 May 2020 from Newark airport, New Jersey. 13 May, 2020
Dr. Asad Majeed Khan, the Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States bid farewell to the students at the Dulles International Airport. A special charter flight arranged by the U.S. Government departed for Lahore carrying around 150 Pakistani students, who had been in the United States on various US funded exchange programs including UGRAD, Fulbright, Humphrey, and YES programs. The Guest Speakers highlighted various aspects of the present crisis in Kashmir. They said that the unilateral action of 5th August 2019 by India was a brazen attempt to change Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K) demographics and its political, economic and social character. The siege has turned IOJ&K into the world's largest prison. They called upon the international community to wake up on Kashmir issue and take notice of the gross human rights violations occurring in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
To commemorate Kashmir Black Day and to raise awareness about the recent crisis in Kashmir, a luncheon discussion with the students of John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) was organized at the Embassy of Pakistan, Washington DC today, 28 October 2019.
