Ambassador Dr. Asad M. Khan delivered remarks at Swearing-in ceremony of Ms. Julie Koenen, Mission Director to Pakistan. Our development partnership with USAID goes decades back in history and we are committed to continue this partnership going forward.
Ambassador Dr. Asad M. Khan hosted a working luncheon for the South Asia experts from Washington Think Tanks today, 14 August 2019 and briefed them in detail on the evolving crisis in Kashmir and its implications for the broader region.

Over last seven decades,we have pursued common goals inspired by shared ideals and common objectives. We have achieved remarkable successes whenever we worked together.
Ambassador Asad M. Khan further stated that the Pakistan government wants to build a “Naya Pakistan” (New Pakistan) in order to pursue a people-friendly, development-driven and peace-centric agenda.
"The Prime Minister is convinced that Pakistan will not be able to pursue its development goals and aspirations until & unless we have a peaceful neighbourhood. It is in this spirit that we have reached out to our neighbors, particularly India and Afghanistan". Ambassador Asad M. Khan added.
Ambassador Asad M. Khan said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan has been advocating peace through dialogue in Afghanistan long before it became fashionable. Pakistan therefore supports President Trump's bold vision for peace in Afghanistan.
Washington: Ambassador Aizaz Chaudhry received Ms. Ina Lepel, former German Ambassador to Pakistan and Director General for Asia-Pacific in the Federal Foreign Office, at the Embassy today. Regional issues of mutual interest were discussed.

Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry hosted a select group of South Asia experts for an informal luncheon at the Embassy of Pakistan on 14 February 2018. Entire gamut of Pakistan-US bilateral relationship and regional situation were discussed.

Washington: Mr. Robert Hathaway, Director Asia Program, Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, called on the Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry on 24 January 2018. The current developments in Pak-US relations and the regional situation were discussed. Mr. Hathaway presented to the Ambassador a copy of his recent book "The Leverage Paradox-Pakistan and the US".

Washington: Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry participated in a discussion titled "Broadening the Lens Beyond Security: The Next Few Decades of US-Pakistan Relations" at Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) on 22 January 2018.

Washington: Ambassador Chaudhry stated that strong and durable Pakistan-US partnership is essential to achieving common objectives of peace and stability in the region, especially for peaceful resolution of the conflict in Afghanistan.

Washington DC: Several leading South Asia experts visited the Embassy of Pakistan, Washington DC on 18 January 2018. Their informal interaction with the Ambassador Aizaz Chaudhry provided an opportunity for a constructive exchange of views on various facets of Pakistan-US relations.
