He briefed them on Pakistan’s firm but mature response to the recent aggression by India. There was wide appreciation of Pakistan’s leadership’s decision to choose peace over belligerence. He also shared with them our desire to strengthen bilateral ties with the U.S. through renewed focus on trade and investment.
