Pakistan rejects NDS allegation regarding involvement in attack on Afghan Parliament

Pakistan strongly rejects baseless allegations carried by a media section quoting National Directorate of Security (NDS) Spokesman alleging Pakistan’s involvement in recent attack on Afghan Parliament.

The allegations fall within the familiar pattern of certain spoilers whose objective is to disrupt the improving relations between the two brotherly nations. We are sure that neither the Afghan people nor the international community would be misled by these motivated allegations.

Pakistan has always supported strong and sustainable democratic system in Afghanistan and condemned all cowardly acts of terrorism.
The Government of Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. We reaffirm our resolve to fight terrorism in close coordination with the Government of Afghanistan.
