Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry Attends Annual Event of Pakistan American Business Association (PABA) and Awarded Certificates to Pakistan Cricket Club (PCC)

Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry attended the Annual Dinner of Pakistan American Business Association (PABA) event at the Virginia International University (VIU), Fairfax, VA.

In his remarks, the Ambassador appreciated the work of PABA in promoting business cooperation between Pakistan and the United States. He said that Pak-US relationship goes back in history marked by close cooperation which should continue in future. He advised Pakistani Americans to get involved and invest in their adopted homeland United States to contribute to the cooperative ties between the two countries.

On the occasion, the Ambassador awarded certificates to members of Pakistan Cricket Club (PCC), current champions of Washington Cricket League. He congratulated the team for connecting people by building bridges at the community level through sports.

Mr. M. Siddique Sheikh, Founder and Chairman of PABA in his welcome remarks thanked the Ambassador for his support to Pakistani Americans community. He presented the Ambassador with a souvenir on behalf of PABA.

The event was attended by distinguished guests from all walks of life including members of Virginia State Congress, academia, media, bankers’ association and the business community.
