Ambassador Asad M. Khan’s first visit to Houston

Ambassador Asad M. Khan has said that Government has recently taken concrete measures to facilitate tourism in the country and new visa regime is one such significant step in this direction. The Ambassador was briefing the Pakistani American community in his first visit to Houston last evening, 01 May 2019.

Soon after arrival at Houston, he met a large cross section of Pakistani American community from various parts of Texas and belonging to diverse walks of life at a ‘meet and greet’ event organized by the Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH).

Appreciating the contribution made by overseas Pakistanis in Pakistan’s development over many decades, the Ambassador emphasized that the present government is deeply interested in facilitating our diaspora. He urged them to take lead in exploring investment opportunities through joint ventures in Pakistan.

During his stay in Houston, Ambassador Asad M. Khan is scheduled to have wide ranging engagements with important opinion makers, think tanks, law makers and business community representatives at a business development seminar.
