Ambassador Masood Khan meets US Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs

 

Sardar Masood Khan, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, received Mr. Dilawar Syed, US Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs at Embassy’s Residence here today.

Special Representative Dilawar Syed brings to his office rich experience in trade, commercial and economic policies and has held eminent positions in the Administration and global businesses.

Ambassador Masood Khan congratulated Mr. Dilawar Syed for his appointment to this high office in which he would help transform global economic agenda around new technologies and the tech sector. “We applaud your leadership,” he said.

Special Representative Dilawar Syed said that there is a huge potential to partnership and that Pakistan and the United States  enterance in Silicon Valley will play a key role in growing bilateral commercial ties.

Ambassador Masood Khan expressed gratitude to the US government for building confidence about investment opportunities in Pakistan.

Mr. Dilawar Syed, in today’s meeting said he is “looking forward to strengthening US-Pakistan economic partnership.”
