Ambassador’s letter to the community

Dear Community member,

As of May 29, 2018, I have assumed responsibilities as Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States of America.

It is a privilege and an honor for me to represent Pakistan in this wonderful country. I believe there is a lot of promise and potential in Pakistan-U.S. relations and I have taken this challenging responsibility with full confidence that we can accomplish great things together.

In the discharge of my duties, I will be relying on the Pakistani American community to add strength to my arms and to guide me through this effort. The Pakistani American diaspora has assumed significance and influence within the U.S. mainstream. Our youth is active and well-educated, and they provide reason for great optimism for the future.

I look forward to working with each one of you and to meet many of you in the coming days. Let’s make this the beginning of a wonderful partnership.

With regards,

Yours sincerely,

Ali Jehangir Siddiqui
Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States
