Ambassador Dr. Asad M. Khan attended Pakistan Day event hosted by Pakistani American community of Maryland in Baltimore on 30th March 2019. Amb. Asad M. Khan hosted a dinner for Pakistani American community leaders from Tri-State area on 01 March 2019. He briefed them on Pakistan’s firm but mature response to the recent aggression by India. There was wide appreciation of Pakistan’s leadership’s decision to choose peace over belligerence. He also shared with them our desire to strengthen bilateral ties with the U.S. through renewed focus on trade and investment.

Warm welcome extended to Amb. Asad M. Khan by Pakistani American Community in the Tristate area on 24 February 2019. Also joined by Sikhs of America. He briefed the audience on PM Imran Khan’s vision for a Naya Pakistan and people centered, development focused and peace oriented agenda & his priority to achieve a peaceful neighborhood. He informed the Pakistani American community leaders that President Trump and Prime Minister Imran Khan were on the same page today in their desire to achieve peace in Afghanistan, and that this convergence was auspicious for the relationship.

Washington: Pakistani-American Community & Youth Convention-2018 has commenced. The theme of the Convention is ‘Connecting the Dots’. Convention comprises of segments namely Youth Engagement, Role of Women, Voice in Academia & think tanks, Civic Engagement, Harmony through Arts & Literature & Entrepreneurs. There will also be a presentation by USAID & as well as discussion on Consular Facilitation by Consul Generals.
