Independence Day Flag Hoisting Ceremony held at Embassy of Pakistan Washington DC

To celebrate 78th Independence Day of Pakistan, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan Washington D.C. today.

Charge d’Affaires Dr. Fareha Bugti hoisted Pakistani flag at the Embassy courtyard. The flag hoisting ceremony was attended by a large number of Pakistani diaspora.
Special messages of President and the Prime Minister were read out on the occasion. In their messages, both leaders paid homage to the immense sacrifices of our forefathers and the heroes of the Pakistan Movement, who fought tirelessly for an independent country.

Charge d’Affaires Dr. Fareha Bugti along with the officers of the Embassy and other guests cut the cake to mark 78th anniversary of Independence of Pakistan.
