After arriving in Washington over the weekend, Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jilani presented copies of his credentials to Ms. Natalie Jones, the Acting Chief of Protocol at the US Department of State, today. Presenting copies of credentials to the US Chief of Protocol enables the newly arrived Ambassadors to start functioning as the accredited representatives of their Governments pending the formal ceremony at the White House.
