Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jilani called on Rep. Peter Visclosky ( D- Indiana), Ranking Member Defence Subcommittee of House Appropriations Committee at the Capitol Hill.

A range of issues in the bilateral relations came up for discussion.

Ambassador Jilani also briefed Rep. Visclosky on domestic and regional developments.

The meeting was characterized with cordiality with a mutual desire to further strengthen bilateral partnership.
Congressman Visclosky visited Pakistan in February and had meetings with the leadership.
