Tech Sector holds the key to bright future of the country: Masood Khan

“The tech sector of Pakistan has witnessed exponential growth during past few months and carries a huge potential to further grow,” said Pakistan Ambassador to the United States.

“The US investors and business community are supporting tech startups in Pakistan. This projects a bright future of the sector and will serve to strengthen Pak-US bilateral relations,” he continued.

Ambassador Masood Khan made these remarks while talking to newly appointed Honorary Consul in Orlando Florida Mr. Adnan Asad here at Embassy of Pakistan Washington DC today.

Masood Khan said that tech startups have attracted attention of world’s leading investment venture capitalists like Global Tiger as well as the Bay Area who discern tremendous potential of a tech savvy young population of Pakistan and promising prospects of the country in this critical sector.

The Ambassador advised the newly appointed Honorary Consul to focus on establishing business linkages and promoting people to people exchanges between Pakistan and the United States.

He especially highlighted the critical role of the Pak-American community.

Honorary Consul Adnan Asad, a successful entrepreneur who invests both in the US and Pakistan, said he would use his networks to build bridges between Pakistan and the United States.
