The Embassy of Pakistan, Washington DC organized a Mehfil-e-Milad to celebrate the birth of Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) on Friday, 08 December 2017.

The Embassy of Pakistan, Washington DC organized a Mehfil-e-Milad this evening to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Najia Aizaz Ahmad, spouse of Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, welcomed the guests and highlighted the spiritual significance of the month of Rabi Ul Awal in which the world was blessed with the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

The program was conducted by renowned religious speaker Mrs. Zohra Noorani, who also led the Salam at the end of the event. Other participants of the gathering paid homage to the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) through special prayers, Naat and Dua.

The event was attended by a large number of ladies of the Pakistani American community.
