Ambassador Message on Eid-ul-Fitr

As the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end, I wish Pakistani-American community a joyous Eid al‑Fitr. It is a great pleasure for me and my family to rejoin our Pakistani-American friends for our first Eid in the United States after more than a decade.

Please accept my best wishes on the Eid which is special in terms of strengthening of our bonds with our families and the larger Pakistani American and Muslim communities.

Eid-ul-Fitr is a unique occasion as it provides us an opportunity for the promotion of our religious and cultural values in this multicultural and diverse society.

On this auspicious occasion let us share a message of love, unity and brotherhood. While celebrating the festivities of Eid we must not forget our brothers and sisters who are disadvantaged, deprived and suffering particularly in Pakistan. We can bring smiles to their faces through our sentiments of love and solidarity.
Eid Mubarak !
